Ra One makes Rs. 170 crores in its first weekend

Eros International has announced a historic box-office opening for Shah Rukh Khan's Ra One. The movie released all over the world on 26th October 2011 and has already set a new Bollywood box office record making 1700 million in its first weekend.

The movie made a fantastic Rs. 1372.5 million in India and Rs. 327.5 million abroad. So far, Ra One has been breaking an array of records – it has already bagged the record for biggest Diwali day opening and biggest single day collections.

Ra One is king khan's biggest project to date. The movie directed by Anubhav Sinha also has Arjun Rampal and Kareena Kapoor. The movie’s visual effects have set a new standard for desi movies. The film also has a great soundtrack from Vishal & Shekhar that features the world famous Akon – reasons enough to not miss watching this movie.
